Mitsubishi needed to overcome a huge awareness and consideration issue but had a paired back vehicle offering and small ad budget in a crowded space. So, to get them the biggest bang for their buck, we utilized the strength and budget of the dealer body to create our unprecedented, groundbreaking “One Voice’ campaign around the company’s newly redesigned flagship vehicle, the Outlander. By combining the production of Tier 1 and Tier 3 advertising, we were able to ensure consistency in the quality, look, and messaging of the campaign, giving the brand greater reach than it could achieve otherwise. Harkening back to Mitsubishi’s advertising glory where the ad’s soundtrack was king, we paired this new automotive advertising strategy with the iconic song, “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC, to increase consideration to an all-time high.
